SRINAGAR : Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of the valley for maintenance works.
According to Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown of *33 kV Lisser-Dooru line* will be observed on *07 October 2026 from 09 AM to 03 PM*. Due to this, power supply to *Dooru, Nowgam, Chowgund, Qammer Hiller, Sadiwara, Verinag, Toolpost and adjoining areas* will be affected.
Similarly, shutdown of *33 kV Nehalpora-Markundal line* will be observed on *07, 11 and 14 October 2026 from 09 AM to 03 PM*, affecting power supply to *Markundal, Naidkhai, Sumbal, Gund Boon and adjoining areas*.
Likewise, shutdown of *33 kV KP Bagh line* will be observed on *10 October 2026 from 10 AM to 03 PM*, due to which power supply to *KP Bagh, Soiteng PHE, Mehjoornagar, Jawaharnagar, Kursoo, Rajbagh, Zero Bridge, Gogjibagh, Lalmandi and adjoining areas* will be affected.
Shutdown of *33 kV Budgam SIDCO line* will also be observed on *10 October 2026 from 09 AM to 03 PM*, affecting *Ompora, SIDCO, Housing Colony, Railway Station Budgam, NIFT and adjoining areas*.
Meanwhile, KPDCL has informed that the shutdown of *220 kV Wagoora-Zainakote Circuit-I line* scheduled for 10 October 2026 stands cancelled.
