SAMBA :A man was shot dead allegedly over a property dispute in Vijaypur area of Samba district on Monday evening.
Police sources said that an argument over property turned violent when accused Nikhil along with his associates opened fire at Aatish Sharma, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Officials said that the weapon used in the crime belonged to the victim. Police acted swiftly and arrested the accused.
A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is underway, police added.
