POONCH:A girl hailing from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) who had crossed over to this side earlier this month was repatriated to Pakistan through Chakkan Da Bagh crossing in Poonch district on Wednesday.
Officials said the girl was apprehended by the Army on October 2 after she inadvertently crossed the Line of Control (LoC).
After completion of legal formalities, the In-charge Police Post Lam along with escort party took her to Chakkan Da Bagh crossing for handing over to Pakistan authorities.
The girl has been identified as Samiya Azeem, daughter of Mohammad Azeem, resident of Bains Gala, Seri, Tehsil Khuiretta, District Kotli (PoK).
The circumstances under which she crossed over were not immediately known.
