NEW DELHI:The Ministry of Home Affairs has approved temporary suspension of internet services in central Delhi ahead of a proposed protest scheduled for tomorrow.
According to official information, internet services will remain suspended within a 4-kilometer radius around the Janpath–Kartavya Path crossing.
The suspension will be in effect from 10 PM on October 9 to 10 PM on October 10. Instructions have been issued to suspend all forms of mobile internet technology during this period.
The move comes as a precautionary measure in view of security arrangements in the national capital.
Officials have advised the public to plan accordingly.
