SRINAGAR :Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled shutdowns of several 33 kV lines for maintenance works, affecting power supply in multiple areas of Srinagar.
Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL informed that shutdown of 33 kV Wanganpora-Tankanwari line will be observed, due to which power supply to Sangam, Shanglipora, Takanwari and adjoining areas will be affected from *9 AM to 3 PM on October 10 and 12, 2026*.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Wanganpora-Khanyar line will be observed, due to which power supply to Kondabal, Hassanabad, Hazaribagh, JLNM Hospital, Jogilanker, Maqdoom Sahib, Miskeen Bagh, Rozbal and adjoining areas will be affected from *9 AM to 3 PM on October 12, 2026*.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV Wanganpora-Soura-SKIMS line will be observed, due to which power supply to Upper Soura, 90 Feet, Zoonimar, Anchar, Bohlachpora and adjoining areas will be affected from *9 AM to 3 PM on October 13 and 15, 2026*.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Bemina-Fatehkadal line will be observed, due to which power supply to KK Moulla, Nowpora, Bohrikadal, BB Shah, Badademb, Bishembarnagar, Gousia Hospital and adjoining areas will be affected from *9 AM to 3 PM on October 15 and 19, 2026*.
