SAMBA :Security forces on Tuesday detained a man hailing from Bihar for questioning in a forward village near International Border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir after his alleged Pakistan links came under scanner, officials said.
The man has been identified as Tara Chand Sadda, resident of Shoirgaon in Araria district of Bihar. He was taken into custody while working in a field at Kaku Da Kotha village in Ramgarh sector after more than a dozen Pakistani contact numbers were found stored in his mobile phone, officials said.
According to officials, Sadda was living as a tenant in Arnia area of Jammu and was also found using VPN connection on his mobile phone.
He has been handed over to concerned police station for further verification and necessary action, officials added.
