LEH:The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, Home Department today ordered major transfer and posting of IPS and JKPS officers.
As per Order No. 88-Home of 2026 dated 20.10.2026 issued by Chief Secretary Ashish Kundra, IAS, total 14 officers have been transferred with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
*BIG HIGHLIGHT - FIRST SP FOR NEW DISTRICT SANKOO:*
*Sh. Pawan Kumar, IPS* who was SP Traffic/SP Security/Telecom has been posted as *SP, Sankoo* consequent upon creation of *New District of Sankoo* vide S.O No 284 dated 16.10.2026. He becomes the first SP of the newly created district.

As per order, the officers transferred shall hand over/take over their charges immediately and report to their new place of posting without delay.
