SRINAGAR : Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of power shutdowns in various areas of Kashmir valley due to maintenance work at different Grid Sub-stations.
According to Chief Engineer Distribution KPDCL, the shutdown schedule will affect large parts of North, Central and South Kashmir on different dates.
*1. SHUTDOWN ON 21, 28 OCTOBER & 07 NOVEMBER (9 AM to 3 PM):*
Due to shutdown of 132/33 kV Grid Substation Pattan, power supply to following areas will be affected:
Pattan Town, Buran, Railway, Nihalpora, Hanjivera, Zanga, Hamray, Lolipora, Wanigam, Tapper, Tantraypora, Palhalan Market, Army, Aglar, Singhpora, Divar, SSM College, SKUAST, Duslipora, Kalseri, Mirgund, Rambilgarh, Hariwatnoo, Rerum, Tangmarg, Shajimarg, Chandilora, Ferozpora, Alambal, Baba Reshi, Rangiwali, Kulhama, Kralweth, Mulgam, Crusher, Gulmarg, Shadipora, Markundal, Sumbal (Partially), Asham, Odina, Shilvat, Sultanpora, Shahgund, Panzinara, Naidkhai and adjoining areas.
*2. SHUTDOWN ON 22 OCTOBER (9 AM to 3 PM) - Pampore & Awantipora Grids:*
Due to shutdown of 200 MVA Grid Station Pampore and 175 MVA Grid Station Awantipora, 132 kV Pampore-Awantipora Ckt I & II and Grid Station Lassipora, power will be affected in:
*Pampore Circle:* Konibal, Lethpora, Pampore, Kadlabal, Shar Shali, IE Wuyan, IE Khrew, Cement Plants, Pahru, BK Pora, Nowgam Railway Station, Summerbugh, Khanda, Ladhoo, Badamibagh, Lasjan, Panthachowk, Sonwar.
*Awantipora / Tral / Lurgam Belt:* Saimooh, K-Koot, Hariparigam, Kaigam, Chakoora, Gulzarpora, Panzgam Railway, Panzgam, Agriculture, Rakh Litter, Naina, Batpora, Khellan, Marhama, Kelan, Khiram, Sangam, Tral, Devar, Pinglish, Dadsara, Chandrigam, Mandoora, Kahlil, Bajwani, Noorpora, Batagund, Lurgam, Nanar, Taki, Laam, Jawaharpora, Aripal, Khangund, Sathoora, Awantipora, Jawbara, Barsoo, Malangpora, Padgampora, Beighpora, Midoora, Bohu, Lassipora and adjoining areas.
*Also:* 33 kV Awantipora Tral 1st and 2nd lines will be shut on 22 Oct, affecting Tral, Gulabagh, 15MW Batagund and adjoining.
*3. SHUTDOWN ON 22 & 27 OCTOBER:*
33 kV Awantipora line - Awantipora, Jawbara, Barsoo, Malangpora, Padgampora, Beighpora, Midoora, Bohu.
*4. SHUTDOWN ON 24 OCTOBER:*
33 kV Balhama & Old TCI Tapline of Khanmoh-SIDCO-I line - Wuyen, Balhama, Munpora and adjoining areas.
KPDCL has requested consumers to bear with the department and make necessary arrangements in advance.
