SRINAGAR :Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed about scheduled power shutdowns in Kashmir Division for maintenance works.
*1. Shutdown On 07 November 2026 (Friday) - 132 kV IRCON Budgam Line:*
Shutdown of *132 kV IRCON Budgam Transmission line* will be observed due to which power supply to *Traction Substation Budgam (Railway)* will be affected *from 09 am to 03 pm on 07 November 2026.*
*2. Shutdown On 22 November 2026 - 33 kV Habbak Lines:*
Shutdown of *33 kV Habbak-Zakura Burzhama line and 33 kV Habbak-Hazratbal line* will be observed due to which power supply to following areas will be affected:
*Zakura, Batpora, Gulabagh, Burzhama, Chatterhama, Tailbal, Danihama, Khimber, Shuperbagh, Animal Husbandry, Hazratbal, Umar Colony, Rangpora, BARC, Habbak, KU (Kashmir University), Nigeen, Kanitar, NIT, Shrine and adjoining areas*
Timing: *from 09 am to 03 pm on 22 November 2026.*
*3. Shutdown On 07 November 2026 - 33 kV Arampora-Kupwara Old Line:*
Shutdown of *33 kV Arampora-Kupwara Old line* will be observed due to which power supply to *whole Machil valley* will be affected *from 10 am to 03 pm on 07 November 2026.*
Consumers in these areas have been advised to take note and make necessary arrangements. Power supply will be restored after completion of work.
