SRINAGAR : Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdown in several areas of North Kashmir on October 13, 15 and 17 due to maintenance works at various grid stations.
Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL said that shutdown of *132 kV Delina-Pattan Direct Ckt, 132 kV Pattan-Amargarh Ckt and 33 KV Switchyard of GSS Pattan* will be observed due to which power supply to Pattan Town, Buran, Railway, Nihalpora, Hanjivera, Zanga, Hamray, Lolipora, Wanigam, Tapper, Tantraypora, Palhalan Market, Army, Aglar, Singhpora, Divar, SSM College, Skuast, Duslipora, Kalseri, Mirgund, Rambilgrah, Hariwatnoo, Rerum, Tangmarg, Shajimarg, Chandilora, Ferozpora, Alambal, Baba Reshi, Rangiwali, Kulhama, Kralweth, Mulgam, Crusher, Gulmarg, Shadipora, Markundal, Sumbal (partially), Asham, Odina, Shilvat, Sultanpora, Shahgund, Panzinara, Naidkhah and adjoining areas will remain affected *from 09 AM to 03 PM on 13th & 15th October 2026.*
Similarly, shutdown of *132 KV S/C Arampora-Vilgam Trans and 132 KV and 33 KV Switchyard of GSS Vilgam* will be observed due to which power supply to Keran, Dolipora, Magam-Handwara, Vilgam, Trehgam, Hayan, Zurhama, Hyhama, Gushie, Deedikot, Kralpora, Gazriyal, Chowkibal, Shumnag Valley, Keran Valley, Kalmoona, Harrie, Tangdar, Teetwal, Panzgam and adjoining areas will remain affected *from 09 AM to 03 PM on 15th October 2026.*
Likewise, shutdown of *132 kV and 33 kV Switchyard of GSS Magam from 10 AM to 03 PM and 132 KV Zainakote-Pattan Ckt-I, Ckt-II, 132 KV Pattan-Magam Ckt-I and Ckt-II from 09 AM to 03 PM* will be observed due to which power supply to Mazhama, Kongamdara, Ahmedpora, Aripanthan, Khag, Beerwah, Arizal, Dhobiwan, Kunzer and adjoining areas will remain affected *on 17th October 2026.*
KPDCL has requested consumers to bear with the department and take note of the schedule.
