SRINAGAR :Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced fresh shutdown schedule for several 33 kV and 132 kV lines in Kashmir Valley for maintenance works.
Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL said that shutdown of *33 kV Awantipora-Sangam-II line* will be observed due to which power supply to Siamoh, K-Koot, Kiagam, Hariparigam, Chakoora, Gulzarpora, Panzgam, Railway and adjoining areas will remain affected *from 09 AM to 03 PM on 17, 22 & 24 October 2026.*
Similarly, shutdown of *33 kV Badampora Army line* will be observed due to which power supply to Hajin, Preng, Madwan, Banyar, Hakbara, Chandergeer and adjoining areas will remain affected *from 11 AM to 03 PM on 15 & 19 October 2026.*
Likewise, shutdown of *33 kV Alasteng Nagbal line* will be observed due to which power supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Fethapora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chundhuna, Saloora, Sherpathri and adjoining areas will remain affected *from 09 AM to 03 PM on 14, 17 & 19 October 2026.*
Similarly, shutdown of *132 KV Habbak-Badampora Trans. Line From http://T.No. 67-71 and 75-78* will be observed due to which power supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fetehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Saloora, Shairpathri and adjoining areas will remain affected *from 09 AM to 03 PM on 14, 17, 18, 19 and 21 October 2026.*
Likewise, shutdown of *132 KV Kangan-Badampora Trans. Line* will be observed due to which power supply to Beehama, Arampora, Arch, Nunner, Manigam, Duderhama, Malshaibagh, Wayil, Gutlibagh and adjoining areas will remain affected *from 09 AM to 03 PM on 31 October, 02 & 04 November 2026.*
Meanwhile, the Chief Engineer informed that the *approved shutdown of 33 kV HMT line and 33 kV Nehalpora Markundal line scheduled for 14 October 2026 stands cancelled.*
