Jammu:
Jammu Police, during the intervening night of 13/14 September 2026, intercepted a bus bearing registration number JK02CE-4300 at Greater Kailash Naka in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gangyal.
During checking, 20 bags containing suspected adulterated paneer were found being transported in the bus. The matter was immediately brought to the notice of the Food Safety Department, and officials of the department were called to Police Station Gangyal for necessary action.
The recovered paneer was subsequently handed over to the officials of the Food Safety Department for examination, sampling and further action as per law.
Further proceedings in the matter are being carried out by the concerned department in accordance with the prescribed legal provisions.
