JAMMU :The Meteorological Centre has issued the weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir for the next 15 days, predicting mostly dry weather till the end of this month.
According to the MeT, *brief spells of light rain are possible at a few places in Kashmir Division today on October 23 and tomorrow on October 24.*
From *October 25 to October 31, the weather will remain generally dry across Jammu and Kashmir,* with generally cloudy conditions expected towards October 31.
The MeT has predicted a change in weather from the beginning of next month.
*From November 1 to 3,* generally cloudy weather is expected with *light rain in plains and light snowfall over higher reaches likely at a few places* of Jammu and Kashmir.
*From November 4 to 5,* generally cloudy weather is expected with *light rain and light snowfall over higher reaches likely at a few to many places.*
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has advised farmers to continue their harvesting and other agricultural operations in view of the dry weather ahead.

- *Oct 23-24:* Brief spells of light rain at a few places in Kashmir Division.
- *Oct 25-31:* Generally dry weather in J&K. Cloudy towards Oct 31.
- *Nov 1-3:* Generally cloudy. Light rain / light snow over higher reaches at a few places.
- *Nov 4-5:* Generally cloudy. Light rain / light snow over higher reaches at a few to many places.
