SRINAGAR :Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced power shutdown in several areas of Srinagar, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Baramulla districts due to maintenance and repair works.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL, the shutdown of 220 KV Zainakote-Alusteng Transmission line Circuit-I-II will be observed due to which power supply to *Shuhama, Bakura, Fethapora, Gadoora, Tulbag, Chundina, Saloora, Sherpathri, Beehama, Arampora, Arch, Nunner, Manigam, Duderhama, Malshaibagh, Wayil, Gultibagh, Pandach, Khalmullah, Umerheir, Panchayat, Ahmadnagar, Pathan Colony, Gulabagh, Kurhama, Yangpora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Checki Baba Salun, Sainik School, Rabitar, Kondbal, GCET Safapora, Lar, Waliwar, Watlar, Repora, Tulmulla, Dangerpora, Theeru, Larsun, Safapora, Central University, Gratbal, Jarakobagh, Hajin, Preng, Madwan, Banyari, Hakbara, Army Camp, Chandgeer, Aloosa, Malangam, Quil, Nishat, Papchan, Ajas, SK Bala, Sadunara, Bazipor, Nadihal, Guroora, Argam, Wanpora, Dawar, NHPC, Tragbal, Peerbaba, Razdan Top, Gund, Kullan, Surfraw, Gagangeer, Sonamarg, Fraw, Ganiwan, Z-Morh Tunnel, Mammer, Wangath, Kangan, Akhal, Baba Nagri, Canal and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 am to 03 pm on 28 October 2026.*
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Boniyar line will be observed due to which power supply to *Boniyar, Trikanjan and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 am to 03 pm on 03 November 2026.*
Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV Watergam line will be observed due to which power supply to *Watergam, Hachipora, Palpora, Behrampora, Dangiwacha, Hadipora, Safalpora and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 am to 03 pm on 31 October, 03 & 07 November 2026.*
Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Malpora line will be observed due to which power supply to *Chandoosa, Hospital, Dangerpora, Sultanpora, Gantamulla, Malpora, Hevan, Namblan, Nowshera, Limber, JNV and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 am to 03 pm on 31 October 2026.*
KPDCL has requested consumers to bear with the corporation during the shutdown period.
